Since their development and introduction to the European market on the late 70's, laminate flooring has evolved into a very smart design option for people who want the look of real timber, however budget dictates a more value conscious approach.
Using state of the art design papers, laminate flooring now looks almost exactly like the "real" thing. The hard wearing melamine surface layer offers greater resistance to scratching and everyday wear and tear, while the high quality HDF core layer provides stability and strength.
Since the introduction and refinement of locking system installation in the late 90's, laminate has become the floor of choice for the handy DIY'er, with most floors being installed in a day, and being able to be used immediately.
Our laminate floors are low VOC emitting and are certified E1 class for formaldehyde emissions.
