The ‘Timber Collection’ by Floating Floors is a range of quality flooring timbers chosen for their inherent beauty and durability. The collection is made up of a wonderful array of the most popular and hard-wearing timbers available. Each of these has their own characteristic colour and grain and all come with a stunning gloss finish to enhance the depth of colour and natural beauty!

In today’s contemporary homes more and more people are choosing timber for it’s magnificent appearance, durability, ease of maintenance, cleanliness and because it offers a warm, allergy-free environment for the whole family!

The ‘Timber Collection’ comes in an assortment of styles including: single plank, single strip, two strip and three strip formats. Panel lengths are 1820mm with widths varying from 82mm strips to 145mm broad planks. The pre-finished surface has a clear, multi-layered, 65% gloss coating of UV cured acrylic and aluminium-oxide/ceramic wear resistant lacquer.

Installation is quick and easy for the professional installer or an experienced handyman. Floors can be laid over any clean, level, dry and load-bearing subfloor including: concrete, timber, vinyl and tiles. Being pre-finished there is no need to coat the surface which means no sanding or polishing. And that means no mess or toxic fumes! Suitable for most rooms eg: lounge, kitchen, dining, bedrooms, rumpus, family and study.

Maintenance is a breeze as the sealed surface resists moisture and dirt and requires only dry mopping/sweeping or light vacuuming with a soft bristle brush. For stains, grease, scuff marks, etc. use a damp mop and clean water with an approved timber floor cleaner.

To help protect your floor from indentations and scratches use wipe-off mats at external entrances to trap dirt and grit. Plus, use felt floor protectors under the feet of all furniture and never drag furniture or heavy, sharp objects across the floor!
