"WITEX" is a direct pressure laminate (DPL) flooring system, made from superior high density fibreboard, it has a moisture resistant melamine and resin based backing with a decorative top film and a hard wearing special resin overlay. All layers are heat laminated in one process and this helps to ensure the surface will not delaminate.
Another design feature to enhance durability, has been the introduction of edge impregnation to protect against moisture penetration and help prevent swelling. This has been added to all of our products including the Castilia Collection, which has the added protection of “AQUA PROTECT”, where the core board has been specially treated, to reduce swelling. So much so that it can be installed in domestic wet areas, such as bathrooms and laundries.
