ACCOMMODATIONThere are numerous options available for accommodation in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area. The Lake Macquarie Visitor Information Centre has full details available on their web-site www.lakemac.com.au and we have a Belmont 16ft Sailing Club Regatta Accommodation List available on www.ok.yachting.org.au. All types of accommodation are catered for including hotels, resorts, motels, bed & breakfast establishments, caravan parks and holiday letting available through real estate agents. Houseboats, yacht and catamaran hire would also be suitable for this venue. Budget conscious competitors requiring camping, on-site caravan or cabin facilities close to the club should contact Belmont Bayview Park. This caravan park is only a short walk from the club and is the most conveniently located of all the accommodation options available. For full details see www.belbay.com. quality family resort you might like to have a look at Rafferty's
Resort on Lake Macquarie (15 minutes drive). Great waterfront location
and superb restaurant. Not well suited to those of us with AUD or
NZD but might be attractive for those with surplus GBP or Euro in
